Back in November or something, I was working on the door strut brackets. I had to loosen the rear quarter panels. First thing I did was remove the louvre and the right side marker. The quarter panel never came off as there was sufficient room to put the new bracket in. So the marker was off the car for at least 5 months..

Right lads, next issue.

First up, the A/C. Last saturday morning I drove up to my parents, confessed what I've done, and asked them to pardon their prodigal son. But the A/C was cycling nice and fine, good air coming out, only it was cycling a bit too fast to my knowledge. Instead of the 6 or 7 seconds at idle, it cycled every 1 or 2 at 3000 rpm cruising speed. Looks like my a/c is low on refridgerant, but I think this is quite unlikely having it fully serviced last autumn.

Next is something a bit worse, on the way up (same trip) the engine ran solid as a rock. I'd park it for about 2 hours and went back home (about 20 miles), but the engine seriously lacked power in the lower revs. Seemed to be misfiring at low revs. I had to disengage the clutch, rev up to 2500 somewhere to let the power kick in an then release the clutch to properly accelerate. I've had this problem before but i thought it fixed with the new vacuum hoses. Could this be an electrical problem perhaps?

AC

Sounds like a low on gas issue to me, that or the AC circuit breaker is on its way out ...

Car Misfiring

Heck.. could be a number of things really but sounds like the problem is after a drive when the engine / fuel is still hot ?

Does it not do this with a full fuel tank?

Just thinking it may be something with the pick up pipe in the tank.
Sometimes they get a small pin prick hole and it sucks air in.
Other times the pipe collapses and causes a constriction.
Shoving a coiled up stainless spring or coiled wire prevents this.
