If you look at this chaps other items he has hundreds of original Delorean items, Silly prices on a lot of it but I could see at least 4 Deloreans worth of kit..... Makes me wonder can you make money buying a "D" and breaking it ? Interesting thought.

I second that ;)

I haven't tried it, but I'd say with great certainty a DeLorean is worth more in the retail value of all of its component parts (even used) than complete/assembled. Whether or not it would be worth the time of disassembling / cleaning / photographing / pricing / cataloguing / packaging it all on top of all that I'm not so sure, not to mention the cost of having a warm space big enough to do all that in the first place.
I think it would help having a crash damaged / cheap one to start with, and if you were someone who didn't put a particularly high value on their time.
