Just to let you know even though they are getting scarce, I have found 2 sources that can supply complete top end gasket sets here in the UK.

I can obtain 5 sets (maybe 10 after confirmation from another supplier) in total but would like an idea of who would want a set, even as a spare just in case. Includes everything to overhaul the top end of the engine.

I will add pictures of the contents when I get them.

Looking at about £85 plus vat from the supplier etc but I am negotiating to see if I can get discount for bulk order.

Just got confirmation from the 2nd supplier that I can get another 5 sets !

The first 5 should be with me next tuesday/ wednesday.

If I get more than 5 definates I will go ahead with the other 5.

I will split a set and take a photograph to show contents when it arrives, however the club won't be splitting the sets to sell just 1 gasket

Just to say that the headgasket sets arrived today !

I can confirm that EACH gasket set comprises of the following:

1 x Left hand Head Gasket
1 x Right hand Head Gasket
1 x Left hand Rocker Cover Gasket
1 x Right hand Rocker Cover Gasket

1 x Timing Cover Gasket

1 x Timing Cover/ Crankshaft oil Seal

12 x Valve Stem Oil Seals

6 x Exhaust Gaskets
6 x Inlet Manifold O-Rings
2 x O rings for Camshaft access covers

W inlet manifold gaskets

Copper Wahers for Injectors et al.

Plus a few others I can't make out.

It took a while to find these so enjoy.

Update !!!

Got news from our supplier yesterday that if I buy another 5 sets from them we can get them for a lot cheaper!

So we are able to offer the saving to the existing sets as well and can now sell them at just £50!

At that price I'm getting them in on behalf of the club.

I personally will be buying a set to keep as you never know when you may need any part from them !
eg Blow on exhaust gasket, a copper washer you drop in "the valley of death", an O ring that splits when you come to remove it, a rocker cover gasket that tears when you come to do the valve clearances etc....
