Sam, It was bought to my attention last night that what I said about Deloreans being crap could be misconstrued by either a new member like yourself, or someone who doesn't belong to the forum but regularly views it. I was having an 'In house joke' and I apologise if I ruined the illusion for you. The truth is, if we really didn't like the car then we wouldn't own one, but like any vehicle that is nearly 30 years old you are bound to get minor problems and faults, but just like the rest of us you won't regret owning one.
But what I will say, you don't have to be technically minded to own one, because their are lots of members in the club that are only to willing to help with any problems you might have with the car. I hope you enjoy our club, because it is a good community. Every year we get invited up to Arrans Hotel in Norfolk for a long weekend where apart from share information and help each other out with problems we might have with our Deloreans, we do what not alot of other clubs are capable of doing and that this is to have a good laugh and to enjoy ourselves, which is what makes our club special and stand out from the rest. If Carlsberg made car clubs then it would probably be the best car club in the world!! Enjoy.......and Sam, Heed my advice!!!!
Vin: Friday afternoon car, because the bastard thing likes to break all the time
