Vin 11746 Middle Eastern Car

Vin 11746 , one of 25 cars originally sold via the Kuwaiti dealership in the Middle East re-imported into Scotland in late 80's and sold to the present owner, it has not been driven for around 15 years, but regularly run up, its mileage currently sits at around 23000km.

The red trim is believed to be factory original, Neal Barclay (former Factory Driver has confirmed he does remember driving a red trimmed interior at the factory) its now painted silver but was painted Racing Green at the dealership.

These pictures have been especially taken and no pictures of this car have been made public previously.

Many thanks to Fergie Allen the current owner since 1988 for allowing the reproduction of these pictures.

However if anyone wants to reproduce these pictures elsewhere then please ask me first.

This car here is Vin 11761 (built on the same day), another Kuwaiti re-import note it has the same lenses.

These may have been done at the dealership, I will look through other examples I have of ME cars.

Im still trying to find out the make / model of those front turn signal / side lights used on a number of 'UK' cars !

Did you tried with the Lada Niva position/turn signal ? Here in Italy when we have to pass the MOT we put them on and they are direct fit, just make the contact for the position and turn lamp.
